Those who like to carry out their inspections on their own can switch off the symbol for inspection in the speedometer as follows.
- Turn off the ignition.
- Press (and keep pressed) the “Mode” button on the speedometer (or on newer models on the left handle next to the horn) and turn the ignition on.
- Continue to hold the button pressed in until the key symbol starts to flash, it flashes for approx. 5 seconds.
- Keep the button pressed for another 5 seconds
- Release button.
- Turn off the ignition.
The service display message should be gone now.
