Inspired by a post in a forum about a “noble bike”, I wanted to restore an Aprilia RS 250 to its original condition.
I discovered the matching motorcycle in October 2008 on a site called “mobile.de”, with 20.000km and a price of 2300 € with complete original covering.
According to the seller, the machine was not modifierd and no major maintenance work was carried out on it. The best for me, so I drove from Heilbronn to Cuxhaven, and took it with me right after a test drive, for the price of 2030 €. For the fact that it ran and was accident-free in the original condition, one could think that it was a little bit little, but later it turns out that the price was ok.
